Job summary

Organon seeks a Site Facilities Management Lead to head the facilities management at its manufacturing site in Cramlington, Northumberland. You will oversee the FM organisation, including utilities, the Engineering Centre of Excellence, and the site’s IFM partnership, while reporting to the engineering leadership team.

This role requires driving reliability, regulatory compliance, cost control, and continuous improvement across FM assets and engineering systems.

Qualifications

• Degree level engineering qualification or similar relevant experience.
• Familiar and experienced with sustainability, maintenance and facilities engineering strategies.
• Competent financial management skills to create and manage expense budgets.
• Highly developed people management and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills both vertically and horizontally with the organisation.
• Ability to influence third-party suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Facilities Management Oversight: monitor KPIs and reduce downtime; implement reliability and maintenance strategies.
• Engineering Systems Leadership: lead development and maintenance of site engineering systems and regulatory audits.
• Sustainability, Energy Strategy and Execution: create and execute Energy Management strategy to reduce consumption and cost.
• Safety and Environmental Management: ensure operations meet safety and environmental standards; conduct safety audits.
• Compliance and Quality Assurance: ensure GMP training, governance and quality system actions are completed on time; quality ownership.
• Contract Management: manage and develop the FM contract and oversee vendor performance.
• Budget Management: oversee Building Maintenance budget and lifecycle management of FM assets.
• Continuous Improvement Initiatives: lead engineering improvements and identify innovative solutions.
• Structured Problem Solving: use reliability metrics to identify issues and improve uptime.
• Team Development and Support: provide coaching and mentorship.
