Job summary

Organon, a world class healthcare company, is hiring a Site Facilities Management Lead to head the FM organisation at our Cramlington site in Northumberland.

You will oversee engineering systems, sustainability initiatives, safety, compliance, contract and budget management, and coach the FM team to improve reliability and uptime.

This role sits on the Engineering leadership team and partners with procurement and external vendors to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree level engineering qualification or similar relevant experience.
• Familiar and experienced with sustainability, maintenance and facilities engineering strategies.
• Competent financial management skills to create and manage expense budgets.
• Highly developed people management and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills both vertically and horizontally with the organisation.
• Ability to influence third-party suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Facilities Management Oversight: monitor KPIs and reduce downtime with maintenance strategies.
• Engineering Systems Leadership: lead development and maintenance of site engineering systems to meet standards and regulatory alignment.
• Sustainability, Energy Strategy and Execution: create and execute the Energy Management strategy to reduce energy consumption and environmental impact.
• Safety and Environmental Management: ensure facilities operations meet safety and environmental standards and conduct safety audits.
• Compliance and Quality Assurance: ensure FM team's strong governance, GMP training, deviations minimisation, and quality system actions.
• Contract Management: manage and develop the site FM contract to optimize service delivery and vendor performance.
• Budget Management: oversee Building Maintenance budget and lifecycle management of FM assets.
• Continuous Improvement Initiatives: develop engineering portfolio of improvement opportunities and implement innovative solutions.
• Structured Problem Solving: enable problem-solving around reliability metrics to increase uptime and productivity.
• Team Development and Support: provide coaching and mentorship to enhance skills.
