Qualifications

• Experience as Site Engineer on civil engineering or major infrastructure projects.
• Competent in setting out and surveying techniques.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
• Experience with surveying equipment (GPS and total stations).
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive approach to health and safety and quality.
• Willingness to work across UK-based project sites.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying works to drawings and specs.
• Ensure accurate line, level and positioning of works.
• Interpret drawings and provide technical support on site.
• Carry out site surveys and as-built measurements.
• Coordinate with management, subcontractors and engineering teams.
• Monitor quality to project specs and standards.
• Maintain QA records and inspection documents.
• Identify and resolve technical issues on site.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Support delivery of works to programme and quality standards.
