Kenton Black Limited seeks an experienced Site Engineer to support major civil engineering and infrastructure projects across the UK. The role focuses on setting out, surveying and providing technical support to site teams on large-scale schemes.

You will interpret drawings, monitor QA, maintain records and drive health, safety and quality standards on site. The position offers long-term opportunities and development across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Engineer in civil engineering or major infrastructure projects.
• Competent in setting out and surveying techniques.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience using surveying equipment including GPS and total stations.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive approach to health, safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying works in accordance with drawings and specs.
• Ensuring accurate line, level and positioning of civil works.
• Interpreting drawings and providing technical support to site teams.
• Carrying out site surveys, measurements and as-built surveys.
• Coordinating with site management, subcontractors and engineering teams.
• Monitoring quality and compliance with project specs and standards.
• Maintaining QA documentation and inspection records.
• Identifying and resolving technical issues on site.
• Ensuring health, safety and environmental requirements compliance.
