Kenton Black Limited is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support major civil engineering and infrastructure projects across the country. This role offers long-term opportunities with an established engineering business and exposure to a variety of UK-wide sites.

Responsibilities include setting out, surveying, interpreting drawings, and coordinating with site teams while ensuring quality and safety standards across projects.

Competenze

• Previous experience as Site Engineer on civil engineering or major infrastructure projects.
• Competent in setting out and surveying techniques.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
• Experience using surveying equipment, including GPS and total stations.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive approach to health, safety and quality.
• Willingness to work across UK-based project sites.

Mansioni

• Set out and survey works per approved drawings and specs.
• Ensure accurate line, level and positioning of civil works.
• Interpret drawings and provide technical support to site teams.
• Carry out site surveys, measurements and as-builts.
• Coordinate with site management, subcontractors and engineering teams.
• Monitor quality and compliance with project standards.
• Maintain accurate site records, QA docs and inspection records.
• Identify and resolve technical issues on site.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental requirements are met.
• Support delivery of works in line with programme and quality standards.
