Job summary

KierBAM is seeking a Site Engineer for the Plymouth project at Devonport Royal Dockyard. You will help manage technical compliance to design specs, support setting out, QA checks, and documentation, delivering work safely, on time and to the highest standards.

Working 45 hours per week on a live MOD site, you will handle RAMS, quality checks and coordination with construction teams. Some weekend work may be required; BPSS and security checks apply.

Qualifications

• Civil engineering or construction qualification; working towards Chartership.
• Experience with reinforced concrete structures using formwork; Leica Survey familiarity.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems; RAMS writing; strong IT skills.
• Supervisor HSE test, SSSTS, and CSCS Card (White PQP/AQP or Red).

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing technical compliance to design specs; ensure safety, timely delivery, high quality.
• Prepare as-built drawings and maintain drawing registers.
• Set out works; regular checks of benchmarks; quality checks and site surveys.
• Provide engineering support and assist in procurement of site materials.
• Maintain daily diaries and trackers.
