Kier Group is seeking a Site Engineer to join the KierBAM team at Plymouth's Devonport Royal Dockyard. You will help manage technical compliance to design specs, ensure safety, timeliness, and high quality across a live MOD site.

You will work with the WRB Section, perform setting-out, quality checks, surveys, and assist in procurement and documentation. BPSS checks and security clearances apply.

Formación

• Civil/construction qualification required or working towards Chartership.
• Experience with reinforced concrete structures using system formwork is preferred.
• Familiarity with RAMS, Quality Management Systems and IT tools is expected.

We're looking for a Site Engineer to join our KierBAM team based in Plymouth – Devonport Royal Dockyard.

Location: Plymouth – Devonport Royal Dockyard
Hours: 45 hours per week

KierBAM is a Joint Venture partnership between Kier and BAM Nuttall, currently delivering an exciting redevelopment project at a Royal Navy site in Plymouth. As a Site Engineer, you'll assist in managing the technical compliance of the project to design specifications, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a significant project within a live MOD facility.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Site Engineer, you'll be working within the WRB Section team, supporting them in delivering this important redevelopment project. Your day to day will include:

• Assisting in the preparation of as-built drawings and establishing effective systems to record completed work
• Participating in developing quality check sheets and carrying out quality checks, surveys, and site inspections
• Setting out works within allowable tolerances and regularly checking setting out points and benchmarks
• Providing engineering support to overcome technical problems and assist in procurement of site materials
• Maintaining drawing registers, completing daily diaries, and keeping trackers up to date

What are we looking for?

This role of Site Engineer is great for you if:

• You hold a Civil Engineering or construction related qualification (HNC, BSc, MSc, BEng, or MEng) and may be working towards Chartership
• You have experience in reinforced concrete structures using system formwork and are familiar with Leica Survey equipment
• You're comfortable with Quality Management Systems, writing RAMS, and possess strong IT skills
• You hold a Supervisor HSE test, SSSTS, and CSCS Card (White PQP/AQP or Red Trainee or Red Provisional)
• You're a team player with excellent organisational skills and flexibility to work weekends when required
