Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property is seeking a proactive Site Engineer for a flagship highways project in Norfolk. You will supervise structural site works, manage temporary works, and ensure QA compliance across packages, collaborating with section engineers to avoid clashes.

Key duties include maintaining CDE records, inspecting site safety, reviewing payment applications, and addressing technical queries to keep the program on track. UK driving licence and CSCS, SMSTS/SEATS preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or HND in Civil Engineering (or allied discipline), ideally with IEng/CEng status.
• Proven experience delivering major highways schemes using surveying instruments and CAD tools.
• Active CSCS Card, SMSTS or SEATS certification, and a full UK driving licence.
• Strong knowledge of structural construction methods, temporary works management, and digital CDE platforms.

Responsibilities

• Supervise structural site works, temporary works designs, and subcontractor delivery across major highways packages.
• Contribute to weekly lookahead programmes with section engineers to resolve site clashes.
• Maintain QA records in the CDE, manage ITPs and close NCRs.
• Perform regular site safety inspections and review subcontractor payment applications.
• Resolve technical queries and support project delivery.
