Job summary

Randstad CPE is recruiting an experienced Site Engineer for a highways and drainage project in Norwich. You will oversee setting out, surveying, QA, and coordination with sub-contractors to maintain progress against short-term lookahead plans.

The role requires proven site delivery experience in UK highways and drainage packages, hands-on GPS/EDM setting-out, and service-detection capabilities. CSCS (Gold/Black) and SMSTS/SSSTS are mandatory; HNC/HND or degree in Civil Engineering preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering UK highways and drainage projects.
• Hands-on GPS/EDM setting-out.
• Knowledge of ITPs and QA processes.
• Willingness to work on site risk management.

Responsibilities

• Set out and survey for deep drainage runs and highway alignment.
• Manage QA and ITPs for adoptable drainage packages.
• Coordinate with site agents, sub-contractors and plant operators.
• Ensure compliance with Permits to Dig and safety procedures.
