Job Description

Your role

The Site Engineer's (SE) core responsibility is to perform infrastructure-related activities in our Data Centres to ensure reliable and efficient operation of the technical infrastructure. This includes maintenance, testing, and surveillance of all installed assets. The role involves troubleshooting, assembly, and daily scheduling of maintenance tasks. It is also critical to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs), deliver client satisfaction, and participate in a 7x24 shift rotation if applicable.

What you’ll do
  • Drive adherence to safety policies, operational efficiency, and core values.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and legal requirements.
  • Manage maintenance and repair operations, including coordination with subcontractors.
  • Perform on-call duties and manage incidents as necessary.
  • Document progress, issues, and results; implement improvement measures.
  • Supervise Site Engineers I, including task assignment, performance evaluation, and professional development.
  • Demonstrate advanced technical proficiency in troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Write and review operating procedures and assist in planning critical maintenance/change requests.
What you’ll need
  • Experience in mission-critical operations and maintenance of large electrotechnical and/or mechanical systems.
  • Technical education or training in mission-critical operations.
  • Skills in maintaining electrotechnical and/or mechanical systems.
  • HV/LV Authorized Person experience is highly desirable.
  • Vocational education in a technical field or site engineering experience.
  • Good computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to work in shifts.
  • Knowledge of fire detection and suppression systems.
  • Experience with HVAC Mechanical and/or Electrical systems.
  • Proactive, customer-focused, seeking to enhance service quality.
  • Attention to detail and a hands-on mentality.
  • Stress resilience.
  • Good communication skills.
