Job description

This fully remote–working Intermediate Electrical Building Services Design Engineer role will see you joining a Kent based building services design consultancy as part of their well structured and supportive team.

While many companies operate in the same way, this management team broke away from the corporates specifically to do things their way.

This includes:

• Permanent remote working; sure the team gets together for face to face meetings and socials, keeps in close contact via Teams etc. but being in the office? Not for them.
• Flexibility with working hours
• Opportunity to develop your career according to your passions

Their projects are mainly in the residential sector, so it is essential that you enjoy working on projects that are the foundation for being people's homes and communities. They are also developing a range of clients in education, healthcare and commercial schemes which will be good for your grey matter and provide the breadth of work needed for your Chartership portfolio.

With the role being purely remote working you could be based anywhere in the UK, but it will be far better if you are based in the south east. This is due to a key part of the role visiting clients for face to face meetings, site surveys etc.

For your application to be successful it is essential that:

• You have worked as an Electrical Design Engineer within building services consultancy
• Have an HNC/D qualification (or above) coupled with familiarity with UK design standards
• Can demonstrate experience of working on residential schemes

Ideally, you will be based within the M25 to make attending meetings easy with a full, UK driving license is essential.
