Job Description:

Your role

The Site Engineer's (SE) core responsibility is to perform infrastructure-related activities in our Data Centres to ensure reliable and efficient operation of the technical infrastructure. This includes maintenance, testing, and surveillance of all assets installed. The role involves troubleshooting, assembly, and day-to-day scheduling of maintenance tasks. It is also responsible for meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs), delivering client satisfaction, and participating in a 7x24 shift rotation when applicable.

What you’ll do

  • Drive adherence to safety policies, operational efficiency, and core values.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and legal requirements.
  • Manage maintenance and repair operations, including coordination with subcontractors.
  • Perform on-call duties and manage incidents as necessary.
  • Document progress, issues, and results, and implement improvement measures.
  • Supervise Site Engineers I, including task assignment, performance evaluation, and professional development guidance.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
  • Write and review operating procedures and assist in planning critical maintenance/change requests.

What you’ll need

  • Experience in mission-critical operations and maintenance of large-scale electrotechnical and/or mechanical systems.
  • Technical education or training in mission-critical operations.
  • Skilled in maintaining electrotechnical and/or mechanical systems.
  • HV/LV authorized person experience is highly preferred.
  • Vocational education in a technical field or site engineering position.
  • Good computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to work in shifts.
  • Knowledge of fire detection and suppression systems.
  • Experience with HVAC mechanical and/or electrical systems.
  • Proactive, customer-focused, with a desire to enhance service quality.
  • Attention to detail and a hands-on mentality.
  • Stress resilience.
