Site Engineer: Earthworks Lead for HS2 Rail Project

Job summary

You should have CSCS cards, strong site engineering and earthworks experience, a valid driving license, and be prepared to work on site in the Southam area.

Qualifications

• CSCS cards: White, White-Yellow, Red - Experienced, Black - Manager or Gold - Supervisor
• Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills
• Experience in earthworks is essential
• Driving license and access to a vehicle

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant and materials to carry out works to the required standards, programme and budget
• On-site supervision of junior engineers and coordination of subcontractors
• Assist with production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans, and financial forecasting
• Ensure the team has current information and resources to perform their duties
