Job summary

Eiffage Kier is looking for a Site Engineer to join our Earthworks team based in Milton Keynes. This role involves liaising with the Sub Agent to allocate resources and ensure compliance with project standards. You will also be responsible for junior engineers' development and monitoring subcontractors' performance.

Qualifications

• HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent.
• CSCS White, Yellow, Red – Experienced; Black – Manager or Gold – Supervisor.
• Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills.
• Experience in earthworks.
• Full UK Driving Licence is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant and materials.
• Ensure work activities are completed to the required standards, programme and budget.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Assist in the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans.
