Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a proactive Site Engineer to join our civil engineering contractor team in Staffordshire. You'll establish site survey controls, perform daily setting-out, and manage technical QA to ensure works meet drawings and specs.

You will produce material procurement schedules, ITPs, and 2-week look-ahead plans, while maintaining accurate diaries and as-built records. A recognized Civil Engineering degree or HNC, and a CSCS card are essential for this permanent role.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or HNC required.
• At least 3 years setting out on active civil schemes with robotic total stations/EDMs.
• Active CSCS card essential; knowledge of QA and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Establish site survey controls and primary level networks across projects.
• Execute detailed setting out for civil works to contract drawings and specifications.
• Produce material procurement schedules, ITPs, and 2-week look-ahead plans.
• Maintain precise daily site diaries and as-built records.
