Job summary

Balfour Beatty Group is delivering the civils package on the BBNP project in the North of Scotland. The Site Engineer will oversee setting out, measurements and reporting on a high profile energy infrastructure scheme in Elgin, ensuring safe, efficient delivery with strong collaboration across teams.

The role requires reading drawings, managing survey equipment, and maintaining quality records, with a focus on safety and discipline on site.

Qualifications

• Experience in heavy civil engineering works such as earthworks, drainage, and roads.
• Ability to read drawings, schedules and specifications.
• Demonstrated focus on safety and safe systems of work.

Responsibilities

• Undertake site engineering control and implementation of works on site.
• Provide sketches detailing setting out information installed.
• Maintain survey equipment and registers; support handover documentation.
