Job summary

Balfour Beatty Group is delivering the BBNP civils package in the North of Scotland. The role of Sub Agent involves supporting the Site Agent in on-site management, coordinating earthworks, drainage, concrete, ducting, and access works, while leading engineers and subcontractors.

You will contribute to planning, risk management, and QA processes, ensuring safety and quality on a high-profile energy infrastructure project.

Responsibilities

• Support Site Agent in day-to-day management of the BBNP civils package.
• Take operational responsibility for defined areas of works (earthworks, drainage, concrete, ducting, access).
• Lead and supervise Section Engineers, site engineers and supervisors.
• Coordinate subcontractors and direct labour to meet programme, quality and safety targets.
• Assist with planning, short-term programmes, and look-ahead planning.
• Ensure method statements, risk assessments and temporary works are in place and followed.
• Monitor progress, risks and milestones to ensure delivery.
• Oversee QA documentation and client requirements.
