Job summary

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering Degree (or equivalent preferable)
• Experience in delivery and technical knowledge of piling projects on various scales
• Experience of working on Infrastructure schemes and large developments
• Ability to manage multiple teams efficiently and multiple scheme costs
• Ability to manage Health and Safety including Behavioural Safety
• Ability to lead, communicate and influence others to deliver targets

Responsibilities

• Management of internal resource and subcontractors
• Ensure works are constructed in accordance with contract and design information
• Produce and review construction methods statements for efficient and safe delivery
• Produce site documentation for delivery of works (PMP, PVPMP, ITP, CMP)
• Develop and work to programmes, measure progress and productivity
• Apply Health, Safety and Environmental plans and promote safe working culture
• Ensure works undertaken safely and in line with HS&E legislation and reviews of risk assessments
• Support and drive behavioural safety on site
• Monitor progress and achieve goals for the work
• Anticipate and resolve engineering-related problems
• Manage construction records and as-built drawings
• Support Customer Focus, Construction Excellence and Innovation strategies
• Attend client meetings and pre-contract meetings
• Support sustainability activities
