Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Senior Site Engineer in Scotland to lead on-site engineering and setting-out activities across rail, civil and infrastructure projects. You will support site management teams, ensure works meet drawings and specifications, and drive quality and safety standards on site.

The ideal candidate has proven senior site engineering experience, strong technical knowledge of setting-out and surveying, and the ability to mentor junior engineers while coordinating with design

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Site Engineer or Senior Site Engineer in civil/rail/infrastructure environments.
• Strong knowledge of setting out, surveying and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Experience guiding or mentoring junior engineers.
• Solid understanding of health & safety, QA and site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all engineering and setting-out activities on site.
• Provide technical guidance to Site Engineers and site team.
• Oversee setting out, levelling, surveying and dimensional control.
• Review drawings and specifications to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor QA, records and site documentation for compliance.
• Liaise with Site Managers, Project Managers, subcontractors and design teams to ensure safe, efficient delivery.
