Job summary

Wood Plc is seeking a Site Engineer for an energy project in Wood Green, Greater London. The role focuses on setting out earthworks and duct installations, coordinating with the project team and ensuring safety on site.

The candidate will use total station and GPS to establish works and will be responsible for documentation and timely delivery to specification on renewable energy contracts.

Qualifications

• Experience with setting out earthworks, duct installations, troughs and RC bases.
• Right to work in the UK.
• CSCS card held (essential).
• SSSTS/SMSTS ticket preferred.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Job Description

I am working alongside a leading civil engineering contractor who are currently looking to hire an experienced Site Engineer due to a number of new contracts being awarded. My client operates across the civils sector on renewable energy projects.

Site Engineer Responsibilities:

• Setting out using total station & GPS. Works include earthworks, duct installations, troughs, and RC bases.
• Working alongside the project management team.
• Site supervision.
• Ensuring health and safety compliance.
• Ensuring works are being carried out in accordance to agreed methodology and method.
• Ensuring the correct documentation is held on site.
• Ensuring works are completed on time and to specification.

Site Engineer Requirements:

• Experience with setting out earthworks, duct installations, troughs, and RC bases.
• Right to work in the UK.
• CSCS card
• SSSTS/SMSTS ticket holder (preferable)
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication skills.
