Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer for a major AMP8 water infrastructure project based in Worcestershire. You will carry out setting out for water and wastewater works, ensuring accuracy against design drawings and specifications, and maintain precise site records.

Key requirements include proven setting-out experience on water or civil projects, experience with Leica or Trimble equipment, a valid CSCS card and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Setting Out Engineer on water or civil projects.
• AMP framework experience is advantageous.
• Competent with Leica or Trimble surveying equipment.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.

• Ensuring all work is carried out accurately in line with design drawings and specifications.
• Producing and maintaining accurate site records.
• Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and design teams.
• Carrying out quality assurance checks and resolving any setting out issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer on water or civil engineering projects.
• Previous experience working on AMP frameworks is advantageous.
• Competent with Leica or Trimble surveying equipment.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
