Job summary

Danny Sullivan & Sons Ltd in Leicestershire is seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join a major infrastructure project on a long-term freelance contract.

You will set out and survey works, interpret drawings, maintain site records, liaise with management and subcontractors, and contribute to QA and safety on site to ensure delivery to exact specifications.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Setting Out Engineer on civil/infrastructure projects.
• Proficient with surveying equipment including GPS and robotic total stations.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• CSCS card is essential.

• Producing and maintaining accurate site records.
• Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy.
• Ensuring works are delivered to design specifications and quality standards.

Our client, one of the UK's leading construction and infrastructure contractors, is seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join their team on a significant, long-term civil engineering project in Leicestershire. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a high-profile development being delivered by a nationally recognised Tier 1 contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering complex infrastructure schemes across the UK.

The Project

You will be joining a major infrastructure programme involving extensive civil engineering works, providing a secure and long-term opportunity within a collaborative and professional site team.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying works in accordance with project requirements.
