Job summary

RTL Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support civil projects, including renewables. You will set out using total station and GPS, liaise with the project management team on earthworks, duct installations, troughs and RC bases.

The role involves site supervision, health and safety compliance, adherence to approved methodologies, maintaining site documentation, and delivering works on time and to specification. A CSCS card and full UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with setting out earthworks, duct installations, troughs, and RC bases.
• Right to work in the UK.
• CSCS card required; SSSTS/SMSTS preferred.
• Full UK driving licence; strong communication skills.

I am working alongside a leading civil engineering contractor who are currently looking to hire an experienced Site Engineer due to a number of new contracts being awarded. My client operates across the civils sector on renewable energy projects.

Site Engineer responsibilities:

• Setting out using total station & GPS. Works include earthworks, duct installations, troughs, and RC bases.
• Working alongside the project management team.
• Site supervision.
• Ensuring health and safety compliance.
• Ensuring works are being carried out in accordance to agreed methodology and method.
• Ensuring the correct documentation is held on site.
• Ensuring works are completed on time and to specification.

Site Engineer requirements:

• Experience with setting out earthworks, duct installations, troughs, and RC bases.
• Right to work in the UK.
• CSCS card
• SSSTS/SMSTS ticket holder (preferable)
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication skills.
