Job summary

RTL Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor working on renewable energy projects. The role focuses on setting out using total station and GPS, earthworks, ducting, troughs and RC bases, with close collaboration with the project team on site.

You will supervise on site activities, ensure health and safety compliance, follow approved methodologies, maintain documentation, and drive works to meet programme and specification requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience setting out earthworks, duct installations, troughs and RC bases.
• CSCS card is required to work on site.
• SSSTS/SMSTS ticket is preferable for safety management.

Responsibilities

• Setting out using total station and GPS.

I am working alongside a leading civil engineering contractor who are currently looking to hire an experienced Site Engineer due to a number of new contracts being awarded. My client operates across the civils sector on renewable energy projects.

Site Engineer responsibilities:

• Setting out using total station & GPS. Works include earthworks, duct installations, troughs, and RC bases.
• Working alongside the project management team.
• Site supervision.
• Ensuring health and safety compliance.
• Ensuring works are being carried out in accordance to agreed methodology and method.
• Ensuring the correct documentation is held on site.
• Ensuring works are completed on time and to specification.

Site Engineer requirements:

• Experience with setting out earthworks, duct installations, troughs, and RC bases.
• Right to work in the UK.
• CSCS card
• SSSTS/SMSTS ticket holder (preferable)
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication skills.
