Job summary

RTL Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to deliver setting out, site supervision, and on-site coordination on civil earthworks and renewables projects. The role involves ensuring works adhere to method statements, maintaining on-site documentation, and working closely with the project management team.

You will have experience with setting out earthworks, duct installations, troughs, and RC bases, plus CSCS card and a full UK driving licence. Right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK.
• CSCS card.
• SSSTS/SMSTS ticket holder (preferable)
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Setting out earthworks, duct installations, troughs, and RC bases on site.
• Liaising with the project management team to ensure milestones are met.
• Site supervision and coordination of on-site activities.
• Enforcing health and safety compliance across works.
• Ensuring works follow the approved methodology and documented procedures.
• Maintaining accurate on-site documentation and records.
• Ensuring works are completed on time and to specification.

I am working alongside a leading civil engineering contractor who are currently looking to hire an experienced Site Engineer due to a number of new contracts being awarded. My client operates across the civils sector on renewable energy projects.

Site Engineer responsibilities:

• Setting out using total station & GPS. Works include earthworks, duct installations, troughs, and RC bases.
• Working alongside the project management team.
• Site supervision.
• Ensuring health and safety compliance.
• Ensuring works are being carried out in accordance to agreed methodology and method.
• Ensuring the correct documentation is held on site.
• Ensuring works are completed on time and to specification.

Site Engineer requirements:

• Experience with setting out earthworks, duct installations, troughs, and RC bases.
