Job summary

RTL Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering renewable energy projects across the civils sector. You will set out using total station and GPS, supervise earthworks, duct installations, troughs and RC bases, and work closely with the PM team to ensure on-time, on-spec delivery.

Applicants must have setting-out experience, CSCS, full UK driving licence, and strong communication skills; SSSTS/SMSTS is desirable.

• Right to work in the UK.
• CSCS card holder.
• SSSTS/SMSTS ticket holder (preferable)

I am working alongside a leading civil engineering contractor who are currently looking to hire an experienced Site Engineer due to a number of new contracts being awarded. My client operates across the civils sector on renewable energy projects.

Site Engineer responsibilities

• Setting out using total station & GPS. Works include earthworks, duct installations, troughs, and RC bases.
• Working alongside the project management team.
• Site supervision.
• Ensuring health and safety compliance.
• Ensuring works are being carried out in accordance to agreed methodology and method.
• Ensuring the correct documentation is held on site.
• Ensuring works are completed on time and to specification.

Site Engineer requirements

• Experience with setting out earthworks, duct installations, troughs, and RC bases.
• Right to work in the UK.
• CSCS card
• SSSTS/SMSTS ticket holder (preferable)
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication skills.
