Job summary

INEOS in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced energy leader to develop and lead the site energy strategy, ensuring energy performance is monitored, analysed and forecasted to optimise costs. You will manage energy procurement and related commercial activities, and drive ISO 50001 implementation as a lever for emissions reduction and EBITDA improvement.

The role requires a chemical-engineering background with a strong commercial mindset to translate data into strategic actions and negotiate

Qualifications

Degree in engineering, preferably chemical, with 5+ years post graduate experience in operations or commercial roles.
Strategic thinker who synthesizes data from diverse sources to see the broader picture.
Ability to break down problems, diagnose and develop solutions.
Broad knowledge of chemical processes and energy technology.
Commercial acumen with ability to negotiate beneficial outcomes.

Responsibilities

Develop and lead the site's energy strategy and its implementation.
Ensure energy management procedures comply with SHE standards and policies.
Manage Site Energy Performance through monitoring, analysis, reporting and forecasting.
Oversee Energy Procurement and Sales for sourcing/selling energy and related products.
Develop and maintain the site energy management system (ISO 50001 or equivalent).
Lead a portfolio of energy improvement projects aligned to business direction.
