Job summary

INEOS Inovyn in Runcorn, United Kingdom, seeks an experienced Site Energy Leader to develop and implement the energy strategy for the site. You will drive energy management across procurement, sales, and usage, aiming for emissions reduction and cost optimisation while maintaining SHE standards.

You will coordinate energy projects, maintain the ISO 50001 framework, and monitor performance against business objectives, ensuring robust reporting and forecasting to support EBITDA targets.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, preferably chemical, with 5+ years post graduate experience in operations or commercial role.
• Strategic thinker who can synthesize data from diverse sources and link issues to the bigger picture.
• Able to break down problems into essential elements, diagnose, and develop solutions.
• Broad knowledge of chemical processes and energy technology.
• Commercial acumen with ability to develop and implement negotiation strategies for mutual outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the site energy strategy implementation.
• Ensure energy management procedures comply with SHE standards and policies.
• Manage Site Energy Performance via monitoring, analysis, reporting and forecasting of energy usage and cost.
• Oversee Energy Procurement and Sales for sourcing/selling energy and related products.
• Develop and maintain the site energy management system (ISO 50001 or equivalent).
• Manage a portfolio of energy improvement projects aligned to business direction and decarbonisation priorities.
