Job summary
O-I in the UK seeks an experienced UK Energy Leader to drive energy management, efficiency and sustainability across our manufacturing operations. You will champion best practices, lead energy reduction projects and monitor performance with plant leadership and regional stakeholders.
You will analyse energy data, report results and act as the energy SME for the UK, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to maximise opportunities and ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Energy Management or related discipline.
- Minimum of three years in energy management or utilities.
- Strong understanding of industrial energy systems and efficiency practices.
- Experience delivering projects and driving continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives across UK manufacturing.
- Identify opportunities to improve energy performance and reduce consumption.
- Analyse energy data and develop action plans to meet reduction targets.
- Lead cross-functional teams on energy-saving projects and improvements.
- Ensure accurate energy reporting and regulatory compliance.
- Promote energy best practices across sites and collaborate with partners.
