Job summary

INEOS Inovyn in Runcorn is seeking a Site Energy Manager to develop and lead the site energy strategy, ensuring compliance with SHE standards and driving energy cost reductions across the operation.

You will manage energy procurement, ISO 50001 implementation, and a programme of energy improvement projects aligned with decarbonisation goals to maximise EBITDA and subsidies where applicable.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in engineering with 5 years post graduate experience in operations or commercial roles.
• Ability to synthesize data from diverse sources to see the broader picture.
• Ability to break problems down into essential elements and develop solutions.
• Broad knowledge of chemical processes and energy technology.
• Commercial acumen with ability to negotiate for mutual benefit.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the site energy strategy and its implementation.
• Ensure energy management procedures comply with SHE standards and policies.
• Manage site energy performance through monitoring, analysis, reporting and forecasting of energy usage and costs.
• Oversee energy procurement and sales for sourcing/selling energy and related products.
• Develop and maintain the site energy management system (ISO 50001 or equivalent).
• Manage a portfolio of energy improvement projects aligned to business direction and decarbonisation goals.
• Manage site-specific non-commodity contracts or third-party supplies.
