Job summary

Boden Group has a vacancy for an Electrical Technician on a static site in Greater Manchester. The role focuses on delivering planned and reactive maintenance with an electrical bias, while ensuring compliance across a busy operational environment.

You will fault find, test, inspect and carry out minor electrical installations in line with BS7671, with additional basic plumbing/HVAC tasks and RAMS management. Independent, proactive candidates are welcome.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation is required.
• Current BS7671 Wiring Regulations qualification.
• City & Guilds 2391-52 Inspection & Testing.
• Experience in Facilities Management, Building Maintenance or similar environment.
• Strong fault-finding and electrical maintenance experience.
• Ability to carry out basic plumbing, HVAC and fabric maintenance tasks.
• Good IT skills with CAFM systems or maintenance software.
• Proactive approach and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
• Carry out fault finding, testing, inspection and electrical works per BS7671.
• Complete basic multi-skilled maintenance including plumbing, HVAC and fabric repairs.
• Supervise contractors, manage permits to work, RAMS and safety compliance.
• Maintain accurate records using the CAFM system and maintenance reports.
• Support KPI reporting, audits and statutory compliance activities.
• Carry out PAT testing and electrical isolations per regulations.
