Job summary

The Boden Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for a contract role in Bishopton. You will maintain electrical systems on a busy site, performing planned and reactive maintenance and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

The role requires strong fault-finding skills, independence, and the ability to work as part of a team. Relevant qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3) are advantageous; 18th Edition desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical maintenance, building services, or industrial engineering.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills on electrical systems.
• Experience with both planned and reactive maintenance.
• City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualifications; 18th Edition desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and equipment across site.
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests and electrical breakdowns.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently to minimise downtime.
• Perform electrical inspections, testing, and ensure compliance with current regulations.
• Work closely with the wider engineering team to maintain high service standards.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures and health & safety requirements.
