Job summary

Salter Grange Limited is seeking a Project Operations Manager to take overall responsibility for all works on site, sitting within the project leadership team to ensure safe, high-quality delivery against programme and budget.

You will lead pre-planning with site and supply chain teams, drive KPIs through site walks and risk reviews, maintain a proactive client relationship, plan site setup and logistics, and champion a strong EHS and quality-first culture on site.

Qualifications

• Engineering background with leadership experience on large sites.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills under pressure.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team and deliver KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for all works on site, leading pre-planning meetings with the site and supply chain teams.
• Sit within the project leadership team to drive delivery of project KPIs through site checks and reviews.
• Maintain a positive relationship with the client team and manage contractual obligations.
• Plan site set-up, logistics, facilities and resourcing in line with budgets.
• Champion a strong EHS and quality-first culture on site and close-out actions from daily reviews.
• Ensure trained staff are in place to manage high-risk activities such as lifting and temporary works.
• Lead development of the project target schedule with the site planner and monitor change.
