Job summary

Nuclear Restoration Services in the United Kingdom is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to play a key role in delivering decommissioning programmes. This site-based role offers the opportunity to coordinate across disciplines, manage interfaces and support safe, on-time delivery.

You will assist the Project Manager, monitor progress, engage with contractors and stakeholders, and contribute to planning, risk management and quality assurance within a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• HND in Science, Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in a nuclear, industrial or similarly regulated environment.
• Strong organisational, planning and analytical skills.
• Proactive team player with ability to work independently while managing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support the successful delivery of complex decommissioning projects and coordinate activities across workstreams.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and baseline management to meet commitments.
• Coordinate project documentation, reporting, safety case requirements and handover activities.
• Monitor contractor and project performance and support risk identification and problem solving.
