Job summary

Nuclearinst is seeking a Major Project Manager to lead the Dungeness Boilers Removal Project. You will report to the Paired Sites Programme Manager and work with the Site Director to deliver a high-value, safety-focused project within the NDA-regulated framework.

You will drive delivery, manage cross-functional teams, ensure quality, cost and schedule adherence, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Chartered Project Professional (ChPP) or equivalent
• Strong strategic thinking and decision-making abilities
• Proven senior leadership experience in regulated environments

Responsibilities

• Drive End-to-End Project Delivery – plan, organise, implement and control the high-profile project within safety, cost and schedule targets.
• Inspire and develop high-performing teams across functions.
• Champion safety and continuous improvement; embed proactive safety culture and share lessons learned.
• Shape project structure and resource strategy; ensure optimal resource allocation.
• Promote inclusive and authentic leadership and build relationships with key stakeholders.
