Job summary

East Coast Community Healthcare CIC (ECCH) is seeking a Site Coordinator within our Estates and Facilities team. You will coordinate a wide range of facilities services across NHS sites to keep environments safe, clean, compliant and welcoming for patients, visitors and staff.

The role involves working with clinical teams, contractors and colleagues to resolve operational issues, carry out audits and quality checks, and support infection prevention, health and safety, and business continuity.

As a Site Coordinator within our Estates and Facilities team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our sites remain safe, clean, compliant and welcoming for patients, visitors and staff every day. Based across our healthcare locations, you will coordinate a wide range of facilities services including domestic cleaning, waste management, linen, portering, grounds maintenance, security and catering liaison activities. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You will work closely with clinical teams, contractors and colleagues to maintain high service standards, resolve operational issues and help create environments that support outstanding patient care. You will also contribute to service improvement, quality assurance and compliance activities, helping to ensure services are delivered efficiently and effectively. The role oversees a range of services including domestic cleaning, portering, waste management, linen services, security, grounds maintenance and catering liaison activities.

You will act as the first point of contact for operational facilities issues, coordinating responses to incidents, resolving service concerns and working closely with clinical teams, contractors and stakeholders to ensure service needs are met. The role includes carrying out audits, inspections and quality checks, monitoring contractor performance, and supporting infection prevention and control requirements. The post holder will provide day-to-day supervision and support to facilities staff, assist with resource deployment and rotas, and promote compliance with organisational policies and procedures.

You will also support health and safety, risk management and regulatory compliance activities, maintain accurate records and performance data, and contribute to service improvements, efficiency initiatives and business continuity arrangements.
