Job summary

Millbank Holdings is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to deliver major infrastructure and engineering projects across the UK. The role involves leading site teams, coordinating subcontractors and supply chain partners, and ensuring delivery on time, to budget and to the highest safety standards.

You will work predominately on site, collaborating with engineering and commercial teams to drive project outcomes.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Construction Manager or senior leadership role on major civil engineering, infrastructure, utilities, rail, nuclear, energy or construction projects.
Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary delivery teams.
Strong programme and resource management skills.
Excellent stakeholder and client management abilities.
Commercial awareness and understanding of project budgets and performance.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage day-to-day construction activities on major projects.
Ensure work is delivered safely on programme and in accordance with quality requirements.
Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners.
Drive positive health, safety and environmental culture across the project.
Monitor and manage construction progress against programme milestones.
Identify and mitigate delivery risks and construction challenges.
Work closely with engineering and commercial teams to ensure efficient project delivery.
Manage workforce planning, logistics and site operations.
Attend and lead progress meetings with clients, stakeholders and project teams.
Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory and company requirements.
Support project reporting and performance reviews.
Mentor and develop site management and supervisory personnel.
