Job summary

AM Global is seeking a Project Cost Consultant to join the site-based commercial team on a major data centre programme in North East England. You will support cost control, GMP procurement and contract administration to drive reliable outcomes.

The role focuses on change control, valuations, forecasting and final accounts, working with contractors, consultants and client representatives to ensure robust governance and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost and commercial management on complex construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong post-contract experience, including change control, valuations, forecasting and final accounts.
• Ability to work effectively with contractors, consultants and client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the Commercial Director in the commercial management of major capital work packages from procurement through to final account.
• Develop, negotiate and convert GMP packages into agreed contract sums.
• Prepare and review valuations, payment recommendations and change control.
