Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Project Cost Consultant to join a site-based commercial team in Newcastle, supporting a major hyperscale data centre programme in North East England.

The role focuses on GMP procurement, contract administration and post-contract cost control, including valuations, forecasts and final accounts, working with contractors, consultants and client representatives to ensure robust cost governance on a major capital programme.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost and commercial management on complex construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong post-contract experience including change control, valuations, forecasting and final accounts.
• Ability to work with contractors, consultants and client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the commercial management of major capital work packages from procurement through final account.
• Lead GMP packaging negotiations and cost conversions where required.
• Support contract administration and commercial governance on FIDIC-based contracts.
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts, CVRs and executive dashboards.
