Job summary

AM Global is seeking a CSA Senior Cost Consultant to join our Cost & Commercial Management team on a major hyperscale data centre programme in the North East. The role focuses on post‑contract cost management across CSA work packages from procurement through to final accounts.

You will work with site leaders, main contractors and partners to drive robust commercial outcomes, lead GMP development and negotiation, manage valuations, change control, and risk, and mentor junior team members on

Qualifications

• Experience in cost and commercial management on major capital projects.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline with professional qualification preferred.
• Chartered status or membership in a relevant professional body.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial management of major CSA capital work packages from procurement to final account.
• Lead GMP development, negotiation and conversion to agreed package values.
• Prepare and review valuations, payment recommendations and change control.
• Contribute to cost reports, forecasts, CVRs and executive dashboards.
• Support administration of FIDIC contracts and governance processes.
• Review tender analysis and reports from the lead contractor.
• Manage commercial risks, opportunities and contingency.
• Collaborate with design, PMO, construction, procurement and commissioning teams.
