Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Project Cost Consultant to join the site-based commercial team supporting a major hyperscale data centre programme in North East England. The role focuses on post-contract commercial management, GMP procurement, contract administration, change control, valuations, forecasting and final accounts.

You will collaborate with contractors, consultants, client representatives and internal teams to ensure robust cost control, governance and successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost and commercial management on complex construction or infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing change control, valuations, forecasting and final accounts.
• Ability to work with contractors, consultants and client stakeholders to deliver robust cost control.

Responsibilities

• Support the Commercial Director in the commercial management of major capital work packages from procurement through to final account.
• Develop, negotiate and convert GMP packages into contract sums.
• Administer contracts and support commercial governance using FIDIC-based processes.
• Prepare and review valuations, payment recommendations and change control.
• Contribute to cost reports, forecasts, CVRs and executive dashboards.
