Job summary

Thorn Baker Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead site-based construction projects across the North West/ Midlands. You will drive delivery from initial planning through to completion, ensuring safety, quality and performance against programme and budget.

You will coordinate internal teams, subcontractors and clients with a focus on delivery excellence and long-term career development.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in construction project management and delivering projects successfully.
• Excellent leadership, organisation and stakeholder management.
• Commercial awareness with ability to manage scope, cost and programme.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage project plans including safety, quality and environmental plans.
• Ensure health, safety, quality and welfare standards on sites.
• Lead project meetings and track actions and milestones.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers and project teams to align with specifications and programme.
• Oversee project programmes, schedules and resource allocation.
• Maintain project documentation, risk registers and reporting systems.
• Identify operational and commercial risks and support financial control.
