Job summary

Thorn Baker Construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager on a client-side basis to lead multiple construction projects from inception to delivery. You will oversee external consultants, contractors and professional teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

The role requires substantial experience in client-side or consultancy environments with strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills to manage stakeholders across project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering construction projects as a Senior/Project Manager.
• Experience in client-side roles or consultancy with client-facing responsibilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from inception through to handover and completion.
• Act as the client representative, coordinating consultants, contractors and professional teams.
• Oversee budgets, programmes, procurement and risk across multiple projects.
• Monitor progress, ensure safety, quality and compliance with legislation and standards.
• Lead meetings and report progress and financial performance to senior management.
