Job summary

Thorn Baker Construction is seeking a Site Manager for a Peterborough-based project with travel required. You will oversee site operations, coordinate with the main contractor and supply chain to hit quality, cost and time targets.

The role reports to the Project Delivery Manager and drives planning and scheduling to completion and handover. The ideal candidate will have offsite or traditional timber/modular construction experience, strong client-facing communication, and relevant SMSTS/CSCS and

Qualifications

• Experience in offsite or traditional construction - timber/modular.
• Experience of design stages of projects
• Good communication skills and the ability to deal with clients
• Customer service orientated
• Technically skilled and industry aware

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all site operations relating to the client build process, working closely with the main contractor and managing supply chain to achieve targets of quality, cost and time.
• Liaise with the Project Delivery Manager to ensure planning and scheduling of works aligns with the overall programme and see the project through to completion and handover.
