Job summary

Ramboll Group A/S in the UK seeks a Consents Manager to discharge DCO requirements and manage secondary consents for major infrastructure projects. The role is predominantly site-based, collaborating with contractors, planners and regulators to ensure environmental compliance and timely consent delivery.

You will lead consent workstreams, maintain trackers and support multi-disciplinary bids while embedding consent requirements into project schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience discharging DCO requirements and secondary consents.
• Experience with environmental permitting and compliance trackers.
• Ability to interpret environmental approvals and translate into controls.
• On-site experience coordinating with contractors and delivery teams.
• Strong written outputs and stakeholder briefing capabilities.
• Degree in an environmental discipline or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead management of DCO requirements, secondary consents and environmental compliance.
• Develop and maintain discharge trackers, consent registers and evidence bundles.
• Engage regulators, local authorities and contractors to resolve consenting issues.
• Review environmental permissions and translate commitments into controls.
• Provide on-site support to delivery teams and secure compliance evidence.
• Advise on design, land and programme changes with embedded consenting needs.
• Contribute to proposals, budgets, delivery plans and mentor colleagues.
