Job summary

Ramboll in the UK is recruiting an Environment and Consents Manager located in our Norwich or Cambridge offices. You will lead the discharge of DCO requirements and manage secondary consents for major infrastructure projects, ensuring environmental compliance from planning through construction.

You will work closely with contractors, regulators, planners and clients to identify consenting risks, coordinate submissions and deliver robust evidence of compliance on site and in multi-disciplinary

Qualifications

• Experience discharging DCO requirements and secondary consents.
• Knowledge of UK environmental legislation and consenting processes.
• Experience with environmental management plans and evidence packs.

Responsibilities

• Lead DCO requirements and environmental compliance across projects.
• Develop discharge trackers, consent registers, and evidence bundles.
• Engage regulators and local authorities to secure approvals.
• Translate environmental commitments into practical controls and checks.
• Provide on-site support coordinating cross-disciplinary inputs.
• Mentor junior colleagues and support bid delivery.
