Job summary

A leading construction firm is seeking a Site Agent in Abergavenny or Pontypridd. This role involves managing civils, Pway, and M&E projects while progressing toward a Project Management position. The ideal candidate will have experience with tendering and civil projects in the rail industry. A salary between £55,000 and £65,000 per annum along with a £6000 car allowance is offered, along with personal development and unique benefits.

Are you a rail Site Agent with experience working on civils projects?

Do you have experience working on tenders?

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum DOE + £6000 car allowance

Location: Abergavenny or Pontypridd with travel around Wales & Western region

My client is looking to add a Site Agent to their team to work on civils, Pway and M&E projects in Wales for a number of clients, including Network Rail, Transport for Wales, and local authorities, with progression to a Project Management role provided.

They are currently tendering for a number of projects in Wales, and the ideal candidate would have experience in tendering, putting together programmes of works, planning projects and writing ITPs. It is important that you are able to understand technical drawings and quality plans, as well as having some commercial and work winning understanding.

Requirements for Site Agent
  • Relevant Degree/HND/HNC in Civil Engineering or similar preferred
  • Career progression from engineering background rather than supervisory
  • Experience in working on civils projects in the rail industry for a contractor, and experience with Pway or M&E projects beneficial
  • PTS, SMSTS & CSCS essential
  • TWS/TWC & SEATS preferred
