Job description

Costain has secured extensive work across the water sector this year to support the AMP 8 investment cycle. We have been appointed by United Utilities as one of seven partners to the Enterprise, delivering £5.5 billion of projects during the Asset Management Period 8 (AMP8) from 2025 to 2030, and AMP 9 from 2030 to 2035. Our scope includes providing project management, design, construction, and commissioning services on design and build schemes throughout the North West and Cumbria regions covered by United Utilities. Projects vary in value and encompass both infrastructure and non-infrastructure assets on water and wastewater sites, in collaboration with wider Enterprise partners.

The Site Agent will support the delivery of planned work across the United Utilities (UU) region and develop key relationships with UU operational personnel, supply chain partners, and the wider UU delivery teams. The role involves managing multiple ongoing projects to meet specified quality standards, maximizing commercial performance, and maintaining high standards of health & safety and environmental impact.
