Job description

Freelance (OUTSIDE IR35) - Site Agent / Site Manager
Site Agent - working for the Principal contractor with a very well-known and trusted subbie reporting in. The role involves overseeing the upgrade of civil, mechanical, electrical, control, and instrumental infrastructure on the National Gas Offtake located in Dunham Massey. The site is a live gas site within a fenced boundary and is classified as critical national infrastructure.

Currently looking to recruit a Civils Site Agent working for the Main Contractor.

Scope of Works

The package will be subcontracted to a team that has worked on several similar jobs before, so you will primarily be keeping an eye on the Programme, Health & Safety, and Quality Assurance. The package includes RC pad foundation, grouting, gullies, drainage, ducting, and external works. There is a very good subcontractor reporting in on site for Health & Safety reasons, so First Aid and SMSTS qualifications are necessary.

We are looking for a civil-oriented site manager to focus on CDM management. The key is having sound CDM knowledge and experience.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Reporting to the visiting Contracts Manager
2. Managing all aspects of Health, Safety, and Environmental aspects
3. Managing and updating the programme of works
4. Close liaison with the subcontractor
5. Managing materials
6. Keeping accurate daily records

THE CANDIDATE MUST HAVE A SMSTS and First Aid.
