Ganymede Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Site Agent to lead site operations on a Leatherhead water infrastructure project. You will take ownership, make decisions on the ground, and keep the programme moving on a technically demanding scheme.
The role requires NEC site-level administration, proactive risk management, and clear interface with the client. SMSTS, CSCS Black/Gold, First Aid at Work, and EUSR Water Hygiene are required.
Leatherhead, Surrey | Contract | Up to £400 per day | Outside IR35 (Subject to Determination) | 12 Months+
Leatherhead sits at the centre of a well-funded water infrastructure programme, and the delivery team needs an experienced Site Agent who can take ownership of site operations and help the project team hit its targets. This is not a supervisory role in name only, you will be expected to make decisions and keep things moving on a technically demanding programme.
You will manage day-to-day site delivery across water infrastructure schemes in the Leatherhead area, coordinating subcontractors, reviewing work packages, issuing permits, managing RAMS, and maintaining programme and quality standards throughout. You will work closely with the Project Manager and provide reliable, consistent leadership to the site team below you.
NEC contract administration at site level will be part of your responsibility - early warnings, compensation events, and site records all need to be managed properly, and you will be expected to drive that discipline on site. You will also be a key interface with the client's site representatives, so communication skills and professionalism matter as much as technical ability.
A solid Site Agent or Sub Agent background on civil engineering or water infrastructure schemes. Hands-on experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multi-discipline site operations. NEC contract awareness. Water sector experience strongly preferred. SMSTS, CSCS Black or Gold Card, First Aid at Work, and EUSR Water Hygiene required.
Up to £400 per day, outside IR35 subject to determination. An initial 12-month contract with genuine potential for extension.
